Programmes

Red Stripe’s sustainability portfolio represents HEINEKEN’s Brew A Better World agenda which is its long-term approach for creating shared, sustainable value for the business and its stakeholders. At Red Stripe this is represented in four major initiatives and programmes – The Desnoes & Geddes Foundation, Learning For Life, Project Grow and the Drink Right campaign.

    D&G Foundation

Incorporated in 2006 the D&G Foundation is the charitable/philanthropic arm of Red Stripe a part of the HEINEKEN Company.

    Learning for Life

Started in 2008 under Red Stripe’s former parent company Diageo, Learning For Life is a skills training programme which targets Jamaicans aged 18 – 35 years who are unable to matriculate into tertiary level institutions.

    Project Grow

Project Grow is Red Stripe’s local raw material sourcing initiative in which the company uses cassava as an input in the production of some brewed products such as Red Stripe beer.

    Drink Right

Red Stripe’s responsible consumption programme began in 2008. The Drink Right campaign is the company’s current activation in this regard.
